K. Schneider's unique concepts of "disease"(Krankheit) and his classification of psychopathic personalities described in his book : Clinical Psychopathology (13. edition) including comments by G. Gross and G. Huber were briefly reviewed in this
article.
Some personal comments were made about his basic philosophy and ways of descriptions of psychopathic personalities in comparison with the classification of personality disorders according to DSM-III-R and ICD-10 in consideration of future
development of
classifying personality disorders.
